Watchmen Series 1

In case anyone is interested I saw the Watchmen Series 1 figures at TRU last night. They had all 4 and were $16.99. Silk Spectre looked really nice.

He's a pretty Neat figure.
The character likeness of the Silk Spectre is uncanny to the Likeness of the Chick playing Her... That was fantastic.

I like NightOwl the Best,.. neat suit design, heavy in detail too.

I think I paid like 42 for the complete set..., A little dissapointed that the Comedian comes out in Wave 2.

I ordered Rorschach at my local comic shop, and I think I only paid $14 for him. He is a great looking figure, and I was pretty happy with the display box packaging over a bubble & card. I have to get the Silk Spectre one- I ordered the Golden age version SS too.
We were at the mall last week and they had a huge display of Watchmen stuff in the window at Hot Topic. So did Walden Books (which surprised me- must have been a mandate from corporate, since they quit carrying comics and only have a 4' graphic novel section...yet they have 12' of manga?).

I grabbed Rorschach also last week. Not sold on Ozmadias and Night Owl's movie look but I think I might pick-up the Silk Spectre, Comedian and Doc Manhattan at some point.

The Rorschach is pretty sweet, but the articulation blows. Only one I have so far, but now I want more.

Thats the one I bought too. Great sculpt but would have liked a bit more articulation. I will probably grab The Comedian though.

I liked the deluxe boxed figures as well..TRU had them on another whole isle

One of DC Directs 13" figures? Really? I didn't know tru was carrying those. Hm.

I saw series 2 as well as the DC Direct 13" Rorschach at a TRU last Friday. He was the only character they had. I was very surprise to see the 13" figure. It was $79.99.
