    DC Direct Wish List

I'm glad to see DC Direct doing lines like the upcoming New Gods and Shazam Family instead of rehashing countless versions of Superman and Batman. Got me thinking about other lines I'd like to see them add:

    Legion of Super-Heroes, 70s costumes
Wave 1: Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, Wildfire
Wave 2: Dawnstar, Timber Wolf, Princess Projectra, Karate Kid

    Silver Age Superman
Wave 2: Brainiac, Bizarro, Lana Lang, Clark Kent, Toyman

    Flash's Rogues Gallery (Barry Allen's)
Wave 1: Trickster, Pied Piper, Heatwave, Professor Zoom
Wave 2: Abra Kadabra, Weather Wizard, The Top, Golden Glider

Secret Society of Super-Villains (70s versions)
Wave 1: The Wizard, Angle Man, Calculator, Blockbuster, Felix Faust
Wave 2: Copperhead, Brainwave, Killer Moth, Chronos, Signal Man
Wave 3: Ultra-Humanite, Cheetah, Floronic Man, Killer Frost, Rag Doll

    The Royal Flush Gang

Time-Lost Heroes (or something like that)
Wave 1: Lady Blackhawk, Bat Lash, Unknown Soldier, Shining Knight

Your list is kinda like mine in that I'm mainly just interested in Bronze Age
characters and costumes----just like I try to have my custom Megos
designed (which Silver Age design encompasses many a time)

One particular thing I'd like to see though is DCD finishing out
the SUPERFRIENDS line (Grundy, Grodd, Brainiac, Jack Nimball Toyman,
Hawkman, etc, etc.) but I doubt that would happen

I'd also like to see a Cain and Abel boxed set...with House of Mystery and House of Secrets backdrops, drippy wax candles, a couple of books with locks, and Gregori the Gargoyle.

Later, DC could re-release the individual figures with Madame Xanadu, Mr. E I...Vampire and Dr. 13 as part of a supernatural series.

I'm looking forward to the New Gods figs. They look pretty sweet.

Now, what I'd like to see is Kirby's Jimmy Olson, Newsboy Legion and Forever people figures.

        One can dream, right?

actually LadyZod-----I think those waves seem more possible than
my Super Friends suggestion----at lesat the Olsen/Newsboy suggestion---
they seem to have quite the following to me

I would also like the rest of the superfriends sets done.

I was so happy when I heard they were doing the superfriends series, I pre-ordered all the sets, then they didn't finish them which really stinks! I guess sales just weren't there for them to continue with the line. I really thought it would be too.

I should have waited to buy them off ebay as they sell pretty cheap compared when they first came out which was 59.99 at my comic shop.

                    I'll add:

New Teen Titans: Teen Wonder Robin, Terra, Jericho, Changeling (so you don't have to buy that gift set of repaints), Trigon

JSA (classic): Johnny Thunder w/ Thunderbolt, Mr. Terrific (Terry Sloan), Red Tornado (Ma Hunkle), Star-Spangled Kid (Sylvester Pemberton), accurate GA gasmask Sandman

Dick Sprang Batman: Batman, Robin, Joker, Riddler, Two-Face (or Penguin)
Neal Adams Batman: Batman, Ra's Al Ghul, Talia, Two-Face, Joker (maybe Robin)

That's just the tip of the iceberg. Some of my other wants (modern JSA) I think we'll see eventually.
