They are ridiculous but WAAAYYYYY better than wendy marvin and wonder dog.

And my kid loves them.

I don't know if WENDY or MARVIN or WONDER DOG being lamer than
ZAN and JAYNA and GLEEK really means anything at this point in time
(2009)...at least not to me.

The Hanna Barbera Dc stuff was basically ALL hokey---season after season
right up til the end.

STILL (and this is a BIG "STILL")...

The NOSTALGIA value of Zan/Jayna/Gleek/Marvin/Wendy/Wonder Dog
is what's so wonderful about any of these getting released.

Personally, I hope they go the distance and release all of 'em.

I'd love to see the Wonder Twins or Wendy and Marvin but only if they were done in an existing line and scale like DCUC or DCIH or JLU.

Ain't all those figures in the same scale (Challenge character 2002/3
Super Friends, DCUC, piles of other DC Direct figs)---and isn't it
a given that these Zan and Gleek are DCUC figures?

I got that impression anyway.

I would love to see them in JLU scale. I'd probably put them on my desk and buy another set for my kids. As hokey as they are, they're kid friendly.

The scale of DC Direct figures isn't always consistent. And yes I think these are part of the DCUC line.
