    M.A.S.K. Part Of G.i.Joe ?

I decided I may start to FINALLY start collecting the 25th Anniversary relaunch 3.75" Joe Figures. So I was compiling a checklist. That's when I saw a figure that looked oddly similiar to Matt Trakker from M.A.S.K. I was curious so went to yojoe.com to verify figure. According to the file card it is indeed a M.A.S.K. Figure part of the G.i.Joe roster released in series 11. Thats so cool.

yeah i was quite surprised when i saw that figure. on the corner of the card, there's actually the M.A.S.K logo and on his file card it says that his name is matt trakker and he belongs on the gi joe mobile armored strike kommand team. i wonder if they'll come out with some of the other mask guys and even vehicles!!

I love the cross promotion. I like it went the included the Streetfighter II figures and the not connected but connected Mortal Kombat line.

That is a wicked cool figure. Never seen one in person though.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I saw this figure in the store a while ago. The crossover was done very well. The back of Matt Trakker's file card also states that the VENOM organization is a branch of COBRA. Really kinda makes sense!! Keep your fingers crossed for some of reissued MASK vehicles.

from what I've heard ... most of the Kenner molds fro MASK items are gone ... so reissued MASK vehicles are not likely ... but some 3 3/4" remakes of the vehicles would be SWEET!!!

                  very cool crossover.

I Have heard that too. My understanding is that Hasbro upon purchasing Kenner Kept certain molds , scrapped anything the thought had no future, and even tossed damaged molds. My understanding this affected almost all of Kenners lines in some shape or form . This Includes everything from Their Butch Cassidy figures to Indiana Jones, M.a.s.k., Police Academy, Robocop, Star Wars, Super Powers amongst numerous other lines. The bad thing is we may never see reissues of some great figures and accessories, On the other hand it will make the originals even more loved and valuable.

What they are saying is Cobra Formed V.E.N.O.M. to carry out tasks. I think it's a Neat Concept. For Years G.i.Joe Has Incorporated other properties or characters to their line. Fridge, Sgt. Slaughter, Rowdy Roddy Piper, StreetFighter II , Indirectly Mortal Kombat, and There was also was a planned Rocky Balboa 3.75" Figure at one time. I like the branching out and adding to the G.i.Joe Legacy with other lines, properties , characters, Etc. I just wish they expanded these additions and got more from them.
