    what's up with Target?

Maybe it's just where I am but the local Target here has had a shelf load of JLU three packs and Kilowogs plus Infinite hero three packs and Guy Grdners.
Rtaher than place them on sale they have raised the price....

3 packs used to be $9.99 and now they're 12.99. The 3 packs of infinite heroes are now $16.99....

I went to toys are us and they had the infinite heroe sets of Green Lantern corps and Metroplois. I have to say they sucked and were too pricey. Why do I want a set of luthors? Also the Superman was a kingdom come version....

are they really giving thought to how they sell these? Their marketing sucks.
I saw Batman on the back sold with a Gotham cop? No nightwing or robin?
why do they sell black adam and shazam as a set after offering them both as singles?

    maddening

you just noticed Mattel's crappy sales plan? Its been the same for JLU for years.

Try being in Canada, there hasn't been a new Mattel offering in TRU for anything in a long time. They ran the DK line and that's it. The DCUC line is still at Bizzaro, JLU still at the Kilowog 3 packs and infinite heroes? What are those?

Meanwhile, Marvel fans get anything and everything, grrrrrrr!

The three packs of DCU at WalMart are $19.99! Was in there today, they had a Jay Garrick Flash set, a Hawkman & Thanagarian Warriors set, Bizarro-Supergirl-Wonder Girl, and the GL/GA/Black Canary set. $80.00 for the lot...I can't pull that trigger, not even for Jay Flash whom I love dearly.

^^^ For those little figures? JLU is only 11.99 for a 3 pack.

Yeah, it's crazy money there askin'! Wally World wants $7.99 each for the individual figures..$11.99 each for the bigger classic DCUs. Guess if you've eliminated most of the competition, you get to name your price. Imagine that- these went up immediatly after K-B Toys closed down.

It's a good thing to have Wal-Mart come to your town, yes, it's a real good thing. Now off to the cornfield with you.

Simple solution, don't buy the dang things.

Well, at first I thought it OK. I mean the three packs were $9.99. I wasn't thrilled that everytime you bought one you had to get a Batman or Superman or Flash. But as long as it was two new ones and one old one I thought it OK I could care less for the accessories most of the time.

Ther Target out here however is inundated with old stock and I assumed the'd go on sale soon but instead they raised the prices on the same stock they could not sell. This makes no sense.

I went to Toys R Us and I have to say that I was again equally appaulled. Believe me I haven't spent a dime on them
Ironically the old Flash three pack and the Gordon three pack were $12.99

I was shocked to see the Green Lantern 6 pack and Superman set so high and so loaded with crap!

Seems to me a set of Heroes and a set of Villains or a two pack of hero and major villian are hits. I agree with Shazam and Black Adam but why do that after putting them out as singles?

Batman v. his arch enemy the Gotham City Swat cop? are you kidding me?

If they'd do a set of bat villians and bat allies this would fly off shelves.

Here's a tip on Target. All stores have a magic number" on their clearance items. Look at the "cent price" on the sticker. If the "magic number" is .47 & the price is 10.89 then THAT is NOT the cheapest it will go. if they have a ton of that certain item watch for it to go down. I got the Fisher Price Batmobile awhile back for $4.47, original retail was around 30 bucks, ha ha. If you go to a certain Target a lot just pay attention to those, then you'll know the "magic number". Each store has their own number.
