The one on the bottom reminds me of Monty Python's Zulu war sketch from Meaning of Life.

"Oh leg! --- I think there was one in there"

    BTW,

I see the box says Palitoy.

I thought Palitoy went out of business ?

Palitoy is OOB Mike, But the fan who drove the Nostalgia Action men - ALAN HALL made them spot on to the original. They are hasbro licensed but not hasbro produced as far as I know ( Boots are soft not plastic like vinatge). the sets are awsome and much like EMCE's romulan is a lower cost way to get sets that run in the thousands of dollars MISB and hundreds of dollars loose - if you can even find them.

US affilliate is my old freinds at cotswold, if you order say Hi to grant and the crowd and tell them Jim and John sent you

These sets have been around for about 5 years now through Cotswold collectables.
I was going to get some, but I decided not too due to price and just another thing to collect.

GREAT QUALITY!!!!!!! It escapes me why Hasbro just can't get it right and Alan Hall does. Hasbro way overchrages for it's Joe Club specials and they aren't made as well as Alan's Action Man. The Action Man stuff is a much better deal!

I believe DID manufactures the Action man sets for Alan Hall/Modeler's Loft. I have collected all sets from the AM series, they are on the final wave right now, 14. They are all reverse engineered from original items, even the figures, so they are as spot on to the originals as can be, unlike the Hasbro GI Joe re-releases which used new molds for many items including that awful 40th anniversary Joe head that looks nothing like the original Joe head.

I was in London 2 months ago and stopped in Modeler's Loft and talked to Alan for a while. The store is amazing. It's like going back in time and seeing all this Joe stuff on the shelf in a real store. Very cool.
