    anybody collect 1:18 cars

i used to collect the ertl muscle cars for about 5 years. i regret that i had to sell my collection back around 2003 but it was a fun ride while it lasted. i wonder if anyone here was into them as much as i was.

I have a varied collection. Mostly trying to get all the Chevy Vega diecast models now. Sold off some at a yard sale as my collection outgrew my storage.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

it seem to me once the auto-industries were starting to go under many of the collectors who were into muscle cars stop caring cause "bigger things" were on their minds .

I've always liked them. I have about 20 model cars that I bult/customized when I was a kid. But the diecast, I just didn't want to open another can of worms. But I always check them out when at flea markets and toy shows. I really like the muscle cars. I like the 50s-60's promo cars too. But then again, yet another can of worms!

I collect 1970 Chevelle cars. That was my favorite car of all time, wish I still had mine. Now that they are way expensive I collect the smaller versions.

muscle cars were a very big part of the late 60's and early 70's. i'm surprized plaid stations haven't done anything with them yet.
