Can anybody make one at mego play scale so I can use it with the left of the dial Star Wars Megos coming up in the '78 reimagined catalog?

That'd make that old Wayne Manor thingy look positively silly.

Legos are expensive. Why is that?? Because they have to cover licensing for the various trademarks or what??

Very cool but no way worth $400. It's still just lego pieces which are just molded plastic that costs pennies to produce. With the amount of sets they can produce even the license from Lucas can't be increasing the cost enough to make it $400. This is plain and simple price gauging and the fact that so many SW fans are adults now with regular jobs and some will actually drop this kinda coin for a set like this. Read some of the reviews, one is a guy who's wife bought it for him and he's playing with it. No problem with that but just supports the argument. These will either be low production or mega clearance. Remember the Unicron figure from the Transformers line? Very cool but never sold well at $50 and hit $25 or less in most Toys R Us' before they disappeared. I can only picture this doing the same. Still is very cool though.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
