Found my Apes.
Unfortunately they are not MEGO.

I started to buy those when they came out. I had/have Cornelius, Dr. Zaius, and General Ursus. I liked the bodies, clothing and accessories but was not happy with the heads. Sideshow does 'em better but those are not within my budget. I did wish Kenner would have stuck with the smaller line of "classic POTA".Scott -

Mego faces are way better...just need a paint job to remove the lipstick and eyebrows on the apes and gorillas. I saw these at the toyshow HardyGirl and I saw, and they were overpriced, like $35 each or so.Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.

They look good displayed. I picked them all up, back when they came out.The Zira is kinda cute, but its tough to look at the Zaius one, he is so badly done.
I don't like them as much as the sideshow, or mego apes (obviously).
