3 3/4" DC Infinite Heroes line

...Anybody seen these at a retail store in Canada yet?

I've been looking far and wide. A local hobby shop carries them, but at a bit of a premium price (I gave in and picked up a couple). I hate paying extra, and then finding them all over TRU, Zellers or Wal Mart!!!

Not sure about Canada, but here in KY finally saw (and bought) the Flash and Gordon 3-packs this weekend. They are quite a deal at $15 a piece, considering Meijers was charging $7(!) for a single figure! I did finally see the Atom and Black Hand. Still no Black Adam yet.

Black Adam is officially in the next wave and that wave is hitting now. I have seen them on e-bay but not in stores. The new wave has Black Adam, a Manhunter Robot, a Weaponier of Quward, and Hush with his mask on. Also the "Defense of OA" TRU exclusive 6 pack should be out now but I haven't seen or heard a darn thing about it yet. But on the TRU website they already have the Hal Jordan, Green Arrow, Black Canary 3 pack up.

This line is weird here. Our Target has had the same 12 figures (3 each of the first 4) for over 3 weeks now and has not received any new ones or any new 3-packs. Still have not seen the Gordon set yet.

Scott, do you have Meijers in you area? Check there if you do. For some reason, Meijer's never seem to be scalped as heavily as Target and Wal-Mart either.

I got a case of these in around a week ago and just received notice that two more cases are on their way to me now. As much as I'd like to get into this line I just can't get around the poor paint apps. I saw some of the three packs at TRU and it pretty much looked like a 3 year old had done most of the painting. Considering both Hasbro and Mattel are trying to tap into the collector markets more so now than in the past, you would think quality control issues like this would not be as common as they seem to be.

Nope. Meijers doesn't come this far south.

I was really hyped about these figures. Until I saw them in a K-mart the other day. They have nice bodies and the paint jobs are pretty good too. But these little guys are NOT 3.75" tall. They are about 3" tall. Another inbetween scale. As cool as they are, I may just have to pass on these guys.

These things are dying on the pegs here. Nobody is touching them. At one Target they have so many they've taken over the JLU singles peg, too.

                        Wow.
I REALLY want that Shazam and haven't seen them yet. We may not even get them. My boys like the look of this line alot. They really shoud have put the top tier in the first wave. This could kill the line. Not sure of the rationale here.

I picked up a few. The fact that they're kinda cheap looking made me sort of nostalgic for the old 1980s 3" figures, and their size (although the bodies are a bit skinny) puts them right on scale with classic mego 3" figures, 1980s G.I. Joes, etc. So if the line keeps going I can finally realize my childhood dream of creating a Secret Society of Super Villains that not only includes Lex Luthor, Prof. Zoom and Mirror Master, but also Boss Hogg, Cobra Commander, Ming the Merciless, Draco from Buck Rogers, Jimmy Squeaks, and the Remco Count Dracula.

Just a little update on the singles. From what I've seen on ebay we are up to 13 figures with the Question, Wildcat and Batwoman having just been released. I've managed to find 5. What does that tell you?

All I've seen out here in the sticks of Pennsylvania are Shazam, Guy Gardner, & Adam Strange. Target had the 3 packs with Flash & Villain, TRU had the Gordon-Gotham set too. Not too impressive, I was hoping for a bigger size- too small for my tastes, but Ill probably pick up the Golden Age Flash just because.

Starting to see the JLU in Target with single Hawkman, Star Girl, Kilowog, & of course, new paint Supes & Bats. The three packs with Capt Atom & Question are out, plus Fire & Ice, Huntress & Galatea...really would like to get them but I hate buying that extra Superman just to get the two others I want. Guess I could open them up and sell all the dupes to you customizers! Is anyone else sick of seeing John Stewart in everything?
The New Gods 6 pack was out too, but I was short of funds to buy it and then of course they were gone.
