    Star Wars Army Builders

Lately I've been browsing E bay for star wars stuff and have scene a very large number of Bulk Storm trooper/ different clone trooper auctions I mean groups of 6-7 offered dirt cheap. Usually hundreds for the same sellers

Im curious because I cant see all these people opening all those pkgs.

Was there some bulk trooper offers somewhere? Ive seen the rebel trooper/Storm trooper/Sand trooper sets offered a while ago.

But these guys are coming up with auctions for hundreds of At RT drivers, Clone Quad gunners and the such

Maybe these are cheap knock offs. I notice alot of these auctions are international. Anyone have a clue?

Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
    Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

I don't know if they are knock off's,some discount stores over here sell older Star Wars figures for about £1-£2 like the last of the line or what didnt sell 1st time around,i did manage to get 20 carded Clone Troopers (AOTC) from Toy's r Us in one of there bargin bins for £2 each,so maybe these people are doing the same?Going round and seeing what's going cheap.

the trooper figures have been hoarded big time by army builders ... some spend thousands on just one type of figure ... over on RebelScum one guy had over 1,000 stromtroopers ... and paid full retail for most just to open them and put on display ... Crazy stuff!

The new GI Joe line has the same issues they have people who hoard and buy up all the cobra troops to army build. It's a whole new crazy area of collecting. Then after they see what they have done ... or just get tired of them ... they sell ???? ... just crazy the money they spend in army building in the first place, only to sell for so cheap. I can understand getting like 5 to 20 of the same figure for a display, but dang so many people go way overboard.

There is this one guy in particular E bay handle Tunghori in the Philippines. This guy has over 500 loose troop builders in groups of 5. Why open that many?

Thats mad buying that many just to open,i only got mine as they were cheap and i can give them away or sell later on down the road.1 of each figure is enough as there are so many unless there are variants to be found.

I think thats Extremely Frustating When you have Kids envolved in collecting these.... You go to a Store these Days,.. 7 look at lets say the Joe Line. The Troopers just fly off of the Shelf,.. & You are lucky to even see them.

              It's kinda Disapointing
when you have a 8yr old who wants a Handful of these ... I have yet to even see the New Cobra B.A.T. or even the Regular Cobra Trooper In Stores.

It Took Hasbro a Bit to get it right with the Troopers,.. & Now you can walk into any Store & pretty much have your pic of them. I remember when the StormTrooper was so very hard to get... Perhaps Hasbro Can get it right with the Joe's soon.

I gave up on the new Joes ... so many variations of the same figure ... and there's so many other Joes that still need to be made ... take that Cartoon Cobra commander ... same as the Reg. just with the jar of crystals and emblem off to the side ... oh and Duke with a Jet pack.

I have a soon to be 4 year-old that has gotten the Star Wars bug. I buy loose lots on Ebay and save them for rewards like when he does something good (like sharing) or behaves really well at Grandma's, for example. I get them cheap and they're usually in really good condition and I save on shipping because there isn't any packaging. He has like 30 figures now (he's a good boy). The R2 droids are his favorites.

have a stormtrooper army of about 40. I just got them in lots on ebay. I also have about 30 clone troopers. I'm going to do different scenes with them.
