Sears Mountain Base for GI Joe RAH Looks Familiar

Just saw this posted innthe FB Joburg group. This looks a lot like the Mego PH Batcave to me...

^I think I remember reading the mold for the Batcave was picked up by some other company after Mego went under, and used here, and maybe a few other places.

Here's the catalog page. it was from Penneys. Neat looking playset. It was called Military Command HQ. it wasn't an official RAH playset.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Sears (and other catalogs) were really good about selling generic playsets and vehicles as parts of established toy lines. I bought the "Super Powers" vehicle on this page, thinking it was a legit part of the Kenner line. It wasn't.
