Hasbro Invaders look so weirdly unformed, like they were born prematurely. Their body looks like a small Stretch Armstrong and the face like it needs a skull underneath. I always hated their look and thought it was creepy. But yes the MOTU line has a strong callback to to this look just with definition and individuality

I loved the creepy look of the Intruder when I was a kid. Kind of alien and kind of Neandethal-ish was a good mix for a villain with the back story I saw in the cartoon ads in comics.

I mean it's possible, but I don't really see it. Besides, Mattel already had muscled and crouched posed figures in 75 with Heroes in Action and Mego had the similar to those Comic Action Heroes in 76.

I think the head sculpt is pretty cool, but the rest was pretty messed up.
