Team Up With Little Big Man!

In the 1970's, toy maker extraordinaire Pailtoy brought the popular Spanish toy "MadelMan" to the UK renaming him "Little Big Man" in an effort to offer a lower price point alternative to their popular Action Man line of toys.

Thought small in stature, this six inch character had a tall amount of adventures to choose from, including a couple G.I. Joe didn't have.

What's great about this gallery is not only do we have the original 1975 Palitoy Catalog and some vintage toy industry articles but we also have some fantastic packaged LBM toy photos from the collection of Bill Frost. According to Bill, LBM collecting is a chore in itself, as the pieces are hard to find.

Check out the 1975 Palitoy Little Big Man section here.

That's a superb catalogue and article, I can't thank you enough for that Brian. It's great to see LBM get some love and attention. It is a very tough line to collect as you don't see many packaged pieces offered for sale, which makes it even sweeter when you manage to find them. If anyone has any packaged sets their thinking of selling or know somebody who has, please let me know.

That's pretty cool. I don't think I've ever heard of this line before. I like the Pony Express and Mountie Patrol but I think the horses are just a tad small.

Thanks to Bill for sharing his collection.

I had only seen references to this line. They really capture that 70's action figure genre.
