New Atari 2600+ console plays your vintage 2600 and 7800 games with HDMI

There's a new souped-up Atari 2600 system that plays my old 2600 and 7800 cartridges on modern TVs with HDMI plus new games on cartridge!? I am so there.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I will definitely pick one up. The console itself looks great - I may need to lay some orange shag carpet in the gaming room to give it the appropriate vibe.

I have a vintage Atari VCS (No, it isn't a 2600, it is an early model 6 switch, so that makes it a VCS. They didn't rename it the 2600 until the 5200 came out in 1982).
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

Depending on how much this will cost I am thinking about getting one. I have those Atari game control versions and my nephew loved playing them. I would play Atlantis and he would laugh and giggle so much when the space ships would fly fast and blow up Atlantis.

              Update:
Gamestop has the preorder for $130 with cartridge that has 10 games:
              Adventure
              Combat
              Dodge 'Em
              Haunted House
              Maze Craze
              Missile Command
              Realsports
              Volleyball
              Surround
              Video Pinball
              Yars' Revenge

Since this has Yars' Revenge I am in!!!!

I still have the Record of YR that I used to listen to when I would play the game (yeah I'm a nerd/geek).

I have a 2600 Jr and 7800 and neither look great on my LED TV. The 7800 looks especially bad. My 7800 also has a really tight cartridge port and made a worrying crunch when I inserted the games. So, I've not used it in quite a while. I'm really looking forward to playing all those games again.

Yeah, my VCS looks awful on a Flatscreen. I was trying to play Breakout and the static flicker was just too much.

Just got one this week. It's very nice and high quality. Works great. Solid feeling construction. Really does look like a vintage Atari console. Smaller than the original four switcher but not too small. Maybe a hair larger than the Atari Jr. You do need 7800 controllers to play 7800 games that require two buttons. Like Pole Position and Dark Chambers. They will be releasing a 7800 game pad.
