In the 70's I used to have these type of army soldiers. I think they may have been made by Ideal or some other known brand. The soldiers were about/kind of close to the size of star wars figures. These soldiers had limited movement and most had different poses. For the most part the soldiers arms would move and you were able to twist the torso. Unless your particular solider was made standing you could not do much of anything with the legs (some had the one knee down pose)
I did find one loose at a flea market many years ago (I think the date on his leg said 1976), and gave this to an old friend of mine I have lost touch with.
These were not the M.A.C. figures from Matchbox. These soldiers had more of a sculpt look (similar to the SGT. Rock comic book drawing style)
I know there was many of these and some did come with various vehicles. Does this sound remotely familiar to anyone?
