From what I understand, Leonard Nimoy was heavily into smoking which contributed to his health challenges. Ironic and sad all at the same time.

You can still find candy sticks at Dollar General and Dollar Tree around Halloween time. The past few years has been DC Comics superheroes. A few years ago, I found ones with Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo and Flintstones. I also found ones with Spider-Man and other Marvel characters. There were even Hotel Transylvania candy sticks one year.
Read my blog at Moongem Comics about comics, toys and more.

Yea the Dollar Tree Candy Sticks. The DC comics ones the HB cartoon ones even had the Universal Monster series a few years. I remember as a kid they would have parody versions of real Cig brands but they were spelled Cools and Marlborough. Kids today will never understand the innate coolness of being a second grader on the playground pretending to smoke with a stick of really awful tasting sugary chalk with a dab of no doubt carcinogenic Red Dye #5 on the end.

Haha I can see the Costello there. Reminds me of the Spock socks I got where he looks like Bela Lugosi
