I've always wondered who that blue guy with the widow's peak is on that particular style of Ben Cooper box. Considering the rest of the characters are Marvel, and it kind of looks like Steve Ditko's art, I'm thinking Baron Mordo from Dr. Strange? Or maybe Dr. Druid? Or just a random character from one of the monster/sci-fi anthologies?

Having been to a lot of doll shows with my wife over the years, I too am stunned I never knew Witchiepoo existed.

So is American Man like a flat paper doll with a 2D head? I'm disturbed.

I've never see that Bride of Frankenstein ad before! That's goregous. And of course Elsa Lanchester's Bride is smokin'!

I have always wanted the Madelman Superman for the box more than the figure. The "S" is actually pretty close to Reeve's suit, though!

I picked up that Lost in Space halloween costume a number of years ago in a thrift shop. Had no box and was missing the mask but it's a rather generic mask from the Ben Cooper. Got it for $4.... Had it for a bit and a guy finally talked me out of it. I really love the old Ben Cooper costumes....

The Witchipoo doll--new to me--is just beautiful. I would have adored having that as a child, I loved HRP and other Krofft shows.

That American Man is strange. It's like a paper doll for boys but with and action figure head. Weird.
