You know you're getting old when you start repeating stories about your glory days. AND when you realize your glory days weren't really that glorious. BUT...

I used to work in a store that sold only wind-up toys on Philadelphia's hipster haven, South Street. We never displayed that box display, instead putting out sparkling Rex, Kong and Creech in baskets. I was in that phase being too young to realize I wasn't too old for toys but still couldn't resist a wind-up Godzilla with atomic-ish breath! As with so many other things from my youth, I wish I had kept several of these.
