Bravo Gentlemen; that was awesome! You really captured the fun and zaniness.

's me some Japanese Toy Commercials. This one remains my favorite. It ran while I was watching Kikaida episodes (circa '76), and somehow I got it into my mind that the lead Microman was Kikaida; so as a young adult that started getting into Toy Collecting, I spent a good amount of (pre-Internet) time hunting down a Kikaida toy that didn't exist.

BTW, this handsome lad is Zanbot 3 (sometimes spelled Zambot). Clover put out several versions of him and he later made it to Bandai's Soul of Chogokin Line.

That was a lot of fun! As a kid, I'd see those cool Japanese imports at flea markets and even Radio Shack, and some of them were later integrated into Transformers, etc. I remember thinking "What else do they have over there". It's all so cool!!!
