Can you help me to identify that toy?

Hello,

A few years ago I saw that toy on ebay and I still don't know what it is. I think it's for small Mego figures but.........???!!!
I think it's really a great HQ for figures and I'd like to know more about it and of course find more images.




I'm sure that won't be a problem for guys and girls like you to tell me.

Now I can drool on this playset and by drool I mean imagine my appartment would be decorated this way, with the plastic/stone walls and the red chairs... hm, maybe that's an idea for summer works?

The chairs looks like a Eero Sarine (sp) mid-cent mod. Dig it. I have seen similar chairs for my space 1999 kids.
