    Empire Hot Cycles!

I love this ad from Empire, I especially like the little girl's Hulk costume but would the Hulk's cycle have frills?

The next best thing to a Big Wheel. I never had either and have always felt deprived. These looked cool though.

I love those, I'd never seen any of them until someone posted a shot around here a year or two ago.

      Spidey's glasses need attention though

What was the difference between Hot Cycles and Big Wheels? I thought Empire owned the Big Wheel trademark?

I never had any of those, but I did have the Empire ride-on Batmobile and Batcycle.

Where did these kids get their play costumes? Love those spidey boots.

If I'm not mistaken, Marx toys created the Big Wheel (and the mean green machine).
Somebody else owns the name now (I think its the outfit that used to be Gearbox collectibles). They still produce the Big Wheel.

I had a Big Wheel as a kid. It was exactly like the ones pictured. I can remember my Dad riding it a few times. I played with it till it fell apart and then played with it some more. Great times indeed.

If you look in the pic, the Spidey boots are the same as Supes' boots, just have webs painted them. And of course, both boots are regular childrens rubber boots. But they are still cool.

Saw these while searching for another, all Marx. The Big Wheel was my ride, that thing was blazing fast and the power slides were bad ***. The Green Machine was way cool too....uh, MEAN!

Oh, okay. Marx made the official Big Wheel. Sorry for the confusion.

Empire was still making blow-molded light-up holiday decorations a few years back.
