5 Awesome Things on eBay this week

I love those Durham Gunslingers. I've got the Wild Bill and a Billy the Kid.

Speaking of Woolworth and western toys...Does anyone remember some wagon sets with I believe 3 3/4 style figures...think they came with like 20 or 30 pieces of accessories....I had only seen them in Woolworth....

Are you talking about the Legends of the West line from Empire? Those figures had several great wagons (Stagecoach, Buckboard, Covered Wagon, Fire Wagon, & Peddler's Wagon), and each came with a packed-in carded figure (4" tall), horses, the wagons themselves, and loads of accessories. The Stage had all these pieces of furniture that could be loaded on the stage, along with a rifle for the driver; the two frontier wagons came with things to load in them plus a campfire with pots & pans; Fire Wagon had all these items to be used by the firefighters; and the Peddler's Wagon was loaded with bottles and boxes for the peddler to sell. I know most of my toys from the line were bought at Woolworth's when I was little.

That Supergirl image is a redraw of a panel introducing one of many new costumes, designed by fans, she was alternating between in her Adventure Comics run in the early 70s.
