Who here remembers Mattel's Wizzzer Top ???

Hello, So feeling a little nostalgia after seeing a knock off at the dollar store. I searched the forum here to see if anyone posted anything on the subject. I know these toy tops were made before the 70's but they lasted on the market well into the 70's. They were also a favorite stocking stuffer in my house back then. I was also amazed that I did not find mention of this toy on Brian's site "Plaid Stallions". Could this be a forgotten toy, one we all probably had and just forgotten???

I had one when I was a kid- bought another off ebay last year. Some company also sort of reproduced them not long ago, but slightly smaller I believe:

I remember getting my *** beat for it scuffing the crap out of my parents' hardwood floors.

They lasted into the 80s.
