METV bringing back Saturday morning cartoons.

Happy to see it and also surprised it took them so long.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I guess it's a start. I'd rather they show some more obscure Saturday Morning shows that haven't been rerun much like the Krofft shows, or the I Dream of Jeannie cartoon, or maybe Gilligan's Planet.

I'd love them to do weekly alternating blocks of 60s, 70s and 80s toons. A little something for everybody.

Yes, about time! I really missed the old Boomerang channel's Saturday morning lineup, switching years every week. That was a lot of fun.

I think this is great, but I had a similar reaction. I'm thrilled to see a retro channel doing this. It makes a lot of sense. That said, I have to admit that I wished they were able to serve up more 30-minute shows from Kroft, Filmation or Hanna Barbara. Do channels like Boomerang still have the rights to a lot of them?
              WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

Yes, that would be great. I'd love to see some original lineups repeated, even if just a week or two. It also might be cool if they could combine shows from a company, so there's a morning of Krofft, then HB, then Filmation...
