Mattel 1977 Pulsar The Ultimate Man of Adventure Catalog

According to Mattel, Pulsar was the “Ultimate Man of Adventure”. I still want to know what his back story is, is he some sort of cyborg? a Mutant? None of this mattered as a kid, I really wanted him!   The Pulsar Life Systems Center Playset is actually quite hard to find.

I adore this line and have a complete collection. I first received Pulsar when I was a child convalescing from leg surgery and I have a lot of sentimental attachment to this toy. Getting the Life Systems Center was a thrill, too--I liked it better than the SMSDM rocket-lab.

Hypnos is great and frankly I'd have liked more!
