The happy meal that really brings me nostalgia is the hardee's Marvel from 1990. They even had She-Hulk in her Pink Cadillac. I believe shorty after that all the local Hardee's were gone and they became a southern chain.

I went to Hardee's a lot then and got all of those. I still have all of them on display with my Marvel stuff. The Cap on the Sky Cycle is my favorite. Hulk driving a bulldozer is cute too.

Didn't these come with iron-on patches for tee-shirts? I remember having a glittery/shiny Star Trek or Federation patch my mom ironed on a shirt or me that came from a Happy Meal or something. I certainly remember owning a couple Star Trek III drinking glasses that came from Taco Bell or Burger King (and I didn't like Star Trek as a kid, Star Wars was more of my thing).
I am more than machine. More than man. More than a fusion of the two.

Hardee's began as a southern chain (it was founded about an hour from where I live in NC). In the 1980s & 90s they were expanding nationally, and they even diversified to include things like Fried Chicken on the menu, and something like 1994 were sold to the same corporation that had Carl Jrs. For a while, all the Hardee's franchises in NC (and every small town had one, as they had grown that way) were sold to Popeye's, and they then rebranded Hardee's into what they are now.

At the time, my grandfather would occasionally get Happy Meals because they were the right amount of food for him. He knew I was a big Star Trek fan and got me an unused box. It was a fun surprise when he gave it to me. I am not sure what happened to it. I think I eventually flattened it to make it easier to store.
