I remember that commercial. It is really good. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return... -

I remember that. To me, it just made the figures that much more "official" to me!Hugh H. Davis

I remember seeing this during afternoons when I was watching the He-Man & GI Joe--same place I first saw any ad for Super Powers toys. Ironically, I don't remember ever seeing one while watching the last two seasons of Super Friends when they revamped to use the SP name. Were they not allowed to have related ads during the respective shows, per FCC? I remember the first Super Powers ad, with the (limited) animation of all the characters before they showed kids playing with the toys, but it wasn't until just a few years back that I saw the ad that added in the images from the wave with Dr. Fate.Hugh H.
