Ideal King Kong Board Game

I have a fondness for "Kong Mania 1977" but own little to none of it's merchandise. Being a board game nut, I think this is one I'd like to add to our repertoire.

Crap, I forgot this game existed. I really should get one to add to my '76 Kong collection. I don't really collect board games, but I wouldn't mind having this one and the Alien one.

I did have the Kong '76 Colorforms playset. That was awesome!

This era-specific Kong merch always strikes me… gritty NYC of the late 70's, the decade of the Twin Towers, a giant ****ed-off ape, wild!

I LOVED everything about 70s Kong merch. I had this, the Mego game, plush figures, jigglers, glasses... anything I could get my hands on. Its funny, as I wouldn't see the movie for about 20 years. And, I know this is blasphemous, I found it very boring.
