Faced with this decision as a child, I went for Super Joe and you know what? I still would, especially since I don't have a "Gor: the King of the Terrons" doll. What about you folks?
I had the Battlestar ships (my mom got them for me for Christmas the year she worked at Child's World for extra holiday cash). I had a Super Joe as well, but I can't recall the circumstances of how I got him.

As a child I went with the Galactica ships, I had a Cylon Raider and the Stellar Probe. These days it would be a tough call between those and the Super Joes.
I got the Pressman mask on the left for Christmas, and those things were hell to assemble, I gave up by Boxing Day. F you, Pressman!
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
I had Shoot Out in Space as a kid – played the hell out of it with friends – and would gladly make that choice again!
Also had Galactic ships, but not these cool Mattel versions, rather model kits which I assembled and never painted. They were prison gray and had little spring rockets which jammed/misfired consistently.
