    Recreating the world of TRON...

I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with backlight photography to recreate the visual look of TRON with the NECA figures.
I even designed a very minimalist set the way the filmmakers did to give the figures something physical to interact with.

The first image is a simple forced perspective walkway I made in photoshop, which I printed out to stand the figures on.
The second image is the figures photographed on the walkway with red backlighting and UV lighting in front to make the walkway edges glow.
For the final image I designed various foreground and background elements, trying to tie it all together with a nice balance of lines, shapes and colors.

This looks great and I've had a little Tron trip myself recently with getting Disney+ and re-watching the films and outstanding animated series. There's so much more life in this franchise and I hope that Disney give it another go round at some point.

      Top work
