5 Awesome Things on eBay this week

Star Trek the motion picture belt by Southbend- I knew Southbend made some cool electronic phasers and an Enterprise model but I had no idea they did the belt from the movie. I would to wear this with my best pair of pajamas but to quote Comic Book Guy "A star trek fan has no use for a medium".

Japanese Tarzan Model kit- The description says Johnny Weismuller but that's Ron Ely, star of the 1960s TV series and the Doc Savage movie. This is incredibly cool.

Speaking of Star Trek the Motion Picture- Was there ever a more succinct movie tie in than Pajamas? I love everything about this promotion from Snickers.

Takara Universal Monsters Game- Even though I'm not sure I'd be able to figure out how to play it, I've always wanted this game. Look at that box, those figures of not only the monsters but the villagers? Amazing.

Oh wow, I've never seen any of this stuff! Those Trek pajamas and belt are sweet, but MAN that Monster Game is BOSS. I'm surprised this wasn't in Kirk Hammett's book!

Interesting that the PJ's feature TV show artwork - Classic Enterprise and Kirk's yellow shirt -
but the movie's stylized font on both the package and the label.

                  That board game is wicked.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Fantastic stuff as usual! I've always wanted that Takara monster game too, what great box art.

And man, I've seen a lot of Marusan model kits, but I had no idea they made a Tarzan one. And like most Japanese model kits from the era, it has a fantastic box painting.

I believe these very similar to the Horseman Police Woman sets, so about 9" tall I think.
