    Wall Crawling Goodies

With the recent addition of Star Trek and Planet of the Apes and Batman galleries to the Azrak Hamway section of the site, it was important to get this guy involved. Next to Batman, Spider-Man was AHI's most popular characters and he recieved an incredible amount of merchandise.

Which is weird considering that Peter Parker is just a working class schlub who hasn't got the money, let alone has the skills to pilot the many hotrods, copters and rockets AHI encumbered him with. That doesn't make me want this stuff any less....

Here is the Spider-Copter which is a repackaged Bat Copter with the cool Spider-Man logo on it.

A remote controlled Spider-Car, you can already see the pattern.

Ah yes Spider-Man is, of course, a weekend biker...

Seeing as I have read issues where Spidey has made a parachute out of his webs, I present the most logical parachute figure AHI ever made.

This is just a sample for much more check out the new AHI Spider-Man Toy Gallery.

I had many of these growing up, and still have a beat up Remote-Control Spidey car.

When the Lexington, KY Children's Palace was going out of business in 91 or 92, I found a whole endcap full of those AHI Spidey stunt bikes. I only bought one (IDIOT!) and I kept if for a few years before trading it off to my LCS for store credit.

I remember the "Spider-Man Ball Buster". Bout time Pete got some revenge, since everyone is always busting his!

A quick confesssion, I never got any AHI stuff as a kid. My father sold this kind of stuff, so it was kind of insulting to ask my parents to buy it, plus money wasn't always flowing.

The only AHI item I remember my dad selling is POTA Jigglers, the Cornelius had to fill in when I played with my Mego's.

You're killing me with this stuff. I've really tried to refocus on Megos, but a lot of this stuff carries some strong sentimentality with it. Fortunately I stink at finding this stuff, so I haven't had the chance to put out the money.

Honestly, I do love looking at this stuff.

I had that Spidey cycle when I was a kid. It's quite a coincidence that AHI made the cycle the same colour as Mego's Spidey box.

I've got to wonder where he gets hubcaps with his mug on them?
