Here you have it gents, 1979 presented you with either the one piece jumpsuit made from lightweight "Poplin" (wasn't that a girls toy line from the eighties?) or the classic double knit polyester leisure suit and fellas, you can get it in lime green or sky blue! I don't think I could make that important decision, I'd just curl up into a ball on the floor of my shag carpeted, walk in closet and rock back and forth....

Ha!! Funny Bit on the Batman Toys. It's hard not to roll my eyes when I see that crap on the shelves. Who's the design team on these? P Diddy and The Rock?

I'll refrain from my usual Rusty Venture "It's a SPEED SUIT!" gag.

The bat-list was a hoot. As someone who owns WAY too many of those lameoid Batmen, I salute you for wading through and picking the worst. Wal-Mart's exclusive "World of Batman" line must have been designed by colorblind chimps. There is NO excuse for the total lack of color coordination and sense going on in that sub line. Even the Joker and Bruce Wayne figures from that line are horrible, despite unique head sculpts. Hasbro's greatest shame.

The jumpsuits were (and still are - I see them around occasionally) worn by really old guys. Nothing says, "I'm retired and don't give a crap what anyone thinks about the way I dress" like one of those jumpsuits.
