Hi!
I'm looking for help identifying a line of toys and the company that made them.
In the 1980's I mail ordered for a series of molded plastic Marvel characters. They were like the Marx ones from the 1960's and 1970's but an inch or two smaller. I remember a Human Torch, Sub-Mariner, Captain America, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Doc Ock, Green Goblin and I want to say Thor and Iron Man but not 100% sure on the last two.
They were basically statues or very large army men about 3-4 inches tall. Each one was a single color like Green, Red and Blue but just to reiterate, these are NOT the Marx figures. If I remember correctly Captain America was in a pose where he held his shield over his head and it had a pin hole on the shield so you could slide him down a string. Unlike the Marx figures the color choices made sense too. For instance Cap was blue, the Torch was red and the Goblin was green. Do these sound familiar to anyone?
