I had the Roosevelt Franklin as well. I think he is somewhere at my parents house.

I had the Ernie hand puppet and my brother had Burt when we were kids. We also had some of those finger puppets. I found an Ernie hand puppet at a yard sale a couple of years ago and just picked up a Burt hand puppet at a flea market a couple of weeks ago for $5.00.

Very cool list. I still never heard of Roosevelt Franklin until a few weeks back in a PS thread. Or if I had, I'd long forgotten him. I did have some pretty cool SS items as a young kid. A set of Bert and Ernie puppets whose heads and hands were made from heavy hard rubber/plastic. Their bodies were stuffed. Ernie survived longer than Bert, but I dont' know what eventually happened to him. I also had a stuffed Cookie Monster hand puppet that I would actually feed cookies to. I'd shove them down his mouth and smash them up with my hand and the crums would go down my arm.
