With the double whammy of Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman on each week, Kenner pulled out all the stops in 1977 in terms of product, with over 24 pages of products to choose from this is truly the spike in the Bionic Craze.

It's interesting to note that despite her show being action adventure, much of the Bionic Woman merchandise seemed to market her as a fashion doll who just happened to have circuits.

HE HAS A NAME!
I can't get over the response to this query (and no, we won't be naming all of our catalog models) but I had to choose Bill McFarland's suggestion for our "Name this Guy" contest and go with "GUY KARATE".
The reason is two fold, first it rhymes with "Hai Karate" (which this man no doubt bathes in) and when you say the first name in the french vernacular, it goes from being cool to a delicious play on words.
Anyway, ladies meet Guy (pronounce Gu-e-e) Karate!

I love the Bionic line! I have 2 SMDMs, 2 BWs, The Rocket/Repair station, Bionic Beauty Salon, The BW car, Oscar, Bigfoot, Maskatron, Fembot , the extra Bionic limbs, the Mission Control station, and 4 BW fashions. I find the BW Bath and shower set interesting, esp. since in the BW instructions, it clearly says "Do not immerse in water."

one of my most favorite toys! i still have my six million dollar man from when i was a kid, there's holes in his red joggin suit, hair rubs, life like skin has been replaced on his arm but other than that he's all good!!

I seem to recall a while back someone found someone who can replace the skin. I'd probably replace it with stretchy cloth; same effect, lasts longer.

....IF I collected the figures. Which I don't. (But only through extreme willpower....) I remember someone did an absolutely beautiful set of 8" customs of the series, which put ideas in my head. (Now I NEED an 8" scale Venus Probe....)
