Hey Jack
not much man,I sold mine a while back like in 2001 for a pretty good amount, but then got a hold of a huge collection last year and they went for almost nothing. You could probably do better trading them"Time to nut up or shut up"-Tallahassee

I have alot of calls to buy them and when I tell them most sell for under $2 each (to kids at Toy shows) they normally just hold on to them... One guy did sell me about 75 for $.50 each all MOC... I was happy to get $1-2 each...Comment

one of the few and rare errors ive made was buying up a lot of this bunk when it 1st came out, i as so hungry for something i just bought like mad, like many of you i sold it on, got silly little money for it, and remembering im in the uk, the figures were about £4.99 or £5.99 at the time, remember thats double your retail store prices!
i did get good money at the time for some variants ant thx leaflet ones.
i kept my r2d2 ones and sold the lot
nothing rare about r2 its just im r2 mad so they auto went into my stash never to be sold
i see the mid 90 stuff at fairs now like £2 a go, thats about $4 your money so maybe you be better off outing them uk style lol
but yeah the bargain sections on the tables at fairs are pilled high with it
shame really but i promise myself not to get caught up in that hype againComment

I have a pretty good lot of them right now myself, and I can barely get anyone to cover shipping, let alone recoup original cost. I am thinking of taking them to the local shop and getting store credit in trade for some vintage guys or something. Also I have given a bunch of them to some kids down they way, that really dig Star Wars, and couldn't give a hoot about collecting. They were psyched so I felt pretty good about it."Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."Comment

If anyone has any Modern SW figs they want to move I'll pay the following via paypal. USA only.
MOC - $1.00 per figure - any amount, any condition, doubles, triples doesn't matter.
Loose complete or mostly complete - 50 cents each any amount as many pieces as you have. I'll pay $1 each for any loose clones/stormtroopers (except 1st version stormtrooper).
If you have ships, beasts, multi-packs, Etc. - PM or e-mail me a list and we'll talk.
Coming to MegoMeet? Bring any mod SW along and I will buy them there.______

Yep I have boxes and boxes of that stuff. I don't totally regret it because it was alot of fun to search for them and collect them at the time, but in terms of investment, it was a bust. Everyone and their grandmothers bought up this stuff and stockpiled it, and since they still make SW figures now and they've made numerous versions of each character, there's just not much allure there for most people anymore it would seem. I've often thought about just opening them all up and displaying them loose, because they are pretty cool figures, regardless of their value. But I do wish I'd have just spent more of that money buying vintage toys back then!
I think with only a few exceptions for some of the more in-demand figures, asking a couple dollars each for MOC figures is about what you can expect.Comment
