Was anyone a fan of electic trains ?

I wasn't really a fan, but I did have a few in my years.

My fav was Tyco's HO scale Chattanooga Choo-Choo

I liked it so much, I went nuts and built a big layout.

Even bought model buildings, tree's etc in my local hobby shop.

One secret passion I always had ......

I always wanted a Lionel, but they were just too expensive.

      Hmmmm....

I had tons of 'em when I was a kid. In my teens we lived in an apartment, so I traded my HO scales for N-Gauge. Still have them.

You wanna talk EXPENSIVE? Check out the cost of a good N scaled engine! And Fates help 'ya if it breaks! Fixing one is like fixing an old pocket watch.

I had like two N-Gauge's in my time.
I could never keep the train on the tracks.
        They always derailed really quickly.

I'm not big into them but I had a heavy metal one as a kid. No idea what brand or anything it was. It was probably my first love for a toy. I made a tunnel for it with a big shoebox and thought it was really something.

Did it have a guitar and an amp that went up to 11?

I'm no expert, but I think vintage Lionel's are always top dollar.

If your really interested, find out what it is and do some research...

                        It could be a biggie

I have a couple still have my J.C penny Ho set and track from 72 , I since added 40's and 60's Marx , and 60's & 1936 Lionel. great toys.
I love placing marx tanks and canons on flat cars and watching the train roll around the track.

Didn't have them as a kid. Had some race car sets. As an adult,I've bought a couple sets from Hobby Lobby they had reduced to half price around Christmas time. I've got them put up until I can make room to set them up.
