Trying to Finish my Marx T-Rex Collection

I've been trying to get all the color variations of the classic Marx T-Rex Dinosaurs. I'm almost there. The grey one is the original I've had since I was a kid(proud of that ) Then I got the yellow & light green ones(originals). Still missing one original T-Rex, the dark brown one. Then the dark green one is a
re-cast" that came a few years later. There's one other re-cast I'm missing in dark grey. I think that's all of them if I've done my research correctly...then my collection will be complete.

Yeah, good point...he does remind me of the one from Kong. As a kid I always loved him because I thought he looked like Gawangi.

Was this T Rex used in the movie Dinosaurus (1960)? The little boy had two toys, one a TRex and a Brontosaurus. IIRC, the Marx version was used.

That's a good question, I'm not sure...but I wouldn't be surprised. Marx was the leading Dinosaur toy maker...them and MPC.
