Need Help From GI JOE collectors.

I have an original 12-inch Astronaut (mostly complete with play wear) that I would like to sell and I have absolutely no clue what to ask for it.

Any GI JOE collectors out there that might be willing to take a look at some pics to tell me what price-range would be reasonable for it? I don't want to be like one of those folks that asks $800 for a loose, beat-to-crud, T2 Robin because it is a "rare find".

I stay away from vintage Joes but I know from dealing with Cotswold that a decent condition Astronaut goes for between $250-$300.

Cotswald is way over priced. With the Painted head Gijoe Astronaut running on average $80-150 range. The rare set is the 1970 white cloth set with clear bubble helmet and accessories wich would go for $150-300+ loose.

Now the 1960s metalic suit with white helmet, visor, and accessories (chestpack, propellent gun, wand, gloves, cloth booties/boots, camera, and hose)Condition of Gijoe is important hair rubs, eye brow wear, and cracks all effect value. The toughest piece in the set is the propellent gun copper colored wand piece(big part of value). If all is complete mint it could be worth $200 on a good day.

      Good Luck!

Thank you, both. I'm going to try to post some pics. Not too good at that, yet.

It's pretty much just the three-zipper suit, foil-type booties, the helmet minus foam and face shield (pretty rough looking). Missing the gloves and the other accessories. Definite head rubs. Body is complete, but there are some cracks around a few joints.

I got him with my recently acquired Space Capsule (box still had the original price tag from Bradlee's for $6.88!!!) and I already had the Mercury Astronaut. Thinking about putting him on eBay, but I've got no clue what price to start the bidding.

Can anyone recommend a GI Joe site that is as detailed and dedicated to Joe as this site is to Megos?

If you put him on ebay loose like that you're looking at about $40-$60 and with the box and capsule about $100-$130,they are just not selling as good as they use to

For top dollar, if you're a Joe fan, try to hit Joecon or sell him at a toyshow. Ebay will only bring pennies. I know. I'm an ebay joe hunter which pays pennies.

I collect all eras of joe.

I would go to ebay and shop for one like you were going to buy one. Check the asking prices and see what has bids and finally what the selling price is. That would be a good starting point.
