    BIG BUMP

Unfortunately the two SAs I picked up (a couple years apart) during the reissue (one I took out and played with, one I didn’t) have both turned rock solid.

Anyone still have one remaining soft?

His head certainly isn't more durable. I just sold my original one for restoration. I wonder what this will do to the value of the 50 or so originals left in existence.

Remember: "Reproductions always destroy the value of originals" - Mike Wolfe (American Pickers)

In the '70s, he was latex and corn syrup? Is he now more durable vinyl and silicone gel?

In 1976, it was red. Why does such useless information inhabit my memory?

I'm wondering if maybe it's too far removed from the Netflix series they have coming this year so they don't want to get lost in the weeds with making toys unrelated to the show. That being said, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if somewhere down the road they throw one out there if the show proves popular.

Really? Wow! I am stunned. I thought for sure this release was a big hit. I remember all the Targets in my area (and I have four of them) selling out of this figure two different times. Shocked they would not continue the next logical release. What a bummer. So sad to hear that.

Thanks for the info. It is sad. I was really really looking forward to Stretch Monster. Oh well, still glad I got another chance to get Stretch Armstrong.

Oh man, that's a big bummer. Wonder what happened. I was hoping to add three Monsters to my Stretch family.

I've seen these at the end caps in Target on sale for $16, if anyone needs one.
