Hasbro 1973 World of Love Catalog

Hasbro described Love dolls as: "She's what's happening. She's today's American teenager and she's part of the World of Love".

This was an interesting to attempt to combine Fashion dolls with what was left over of the hippie movement in the early 1970s as Hasbro hoped little girls would clamour to enact adventures for Love and her friends Peace, Flower, Music and Soul.

So the rep for Peace is a Captain America fan?

When I was a kid, the only 2 dolls I ever saw from this line was Love and Soul at my local toy store. While I didn't own them myself, I did buy both of these for my friends for their birthdays, and they loved them. I kinda wanted them, though. I thought maybe Love could be Barbie's little sister or cousin, I had no idea that this line was so extensive, and in my adult years, never even heard of the "Music" doll. I've seen the commercial, but YouTube pulled it. It's interesting to note that these dolls have the same bodies as the Charlie's Angels. With a great big screw in the lower torso, these dolls are poorly made and cracked easily, but I still liked them.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
