Atari just added another new game

For the brief time after Star Wars and before the discovery of girls and punk rock, Atari dominated my thoughts.

Looks like they used Buck Rogers Starfighter on the Asteroids box. I think I had all of these games (they may have been my Dad's games, but he lost interest pretty quick after a while, even though he "Had to have" the Atari when it came out).

Loved Warlords because 4 people could play at once --- if you had the extra paddles

I have 187 games for my Atari 2600. I have all the games above. And I remember attempting to play Warlords too, until a kid I used to babysit was so tensed up trying to play, he squeezed the paddle casing so hard he actually broke it and my extra paddles quit working.

Asteroids wasn't that bad on the 2600. Unlike Pac-Man.

Warlords is still massively popular at our house. Whenever kids come over, no matter what tech they are used to, they always have a blast with that 8bit breakout game.

I still have my Atari and loved all of those games. Simple graphics but big game play!

Atari 2600 games did have some terrific box art and don't forget some of them even came with Atari Force mini comics.

It is a shame Pac-Man is so bad. Especially when the 2600 could do so much better. Ms. Pac-Man is actually really good.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
