Feeling brave tonight? How Brave? Brave enough to battle hideous monsters?

Brave enough to sneak around dank castles in the dark and chance being the next victim...of a Dragon Strike?

    In HyperReality.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

No one else remembers this game? It's actually fun to play and the tutorial video is a hoot.

I still have this game, but haven't played it in years. Loved the video.

Yes, it is. It's a spin off of Dungeons and Dragons. It's basically their version of Hero Quest.

Now Heroquest, I had, and still have! I don't recall anything about this one, unfortunately.

Have not played it but I do remember seeing it. I'm surprised I didn't pick it up as I was/am a sucker for many of TSR's board games. I have, the Dragonlance board game, the Buck Rodgers board game the Dungeon board game and Also own Heroquest and Battlemasters by Mattel. I wonder how similar it is to the new D&D co-op board games, Wrath or Ashardalon, Castle Ravenloft, The legend of Drizzit and Temple of Elemental Evil? those games do not require a GM and in fact can be played solo.

It's similar to those in that it uses very scaled down D&D rules. But it still, like Hero Quest, requires a Dungeon Master and you can't really solo it.
