ARK King Joe

All my trips to Little Tokyo make me poorer and richer at the same time. Found me a first version ARK King Joe at Anime Jungle. Not only was it ARK's first version of King Joe, it was their first piece in the line; the only one that didn't have a window box and wasn't sold in the U.S.

The guide tells you what the next 2 releases are, but keeps you guessing on the 4th.

Boxed Joe almost tips the scale at 1 lb.

I got my Kong figure in Hawaii in 76-78 and I was sure they were all in boxes without windows, and you chose the figure you wanted based on the loose figures on display. Now, that is 37 years ago and I doubt very much my memory is that accurate. I saved some pictures of a boxed Kong with window from Ebay some years back and man, what a great looking figure for that time. Amazing.
Congrats on the find! He looks amazing.
Funny that you made me think of this as I am on vacation in Honolulu right now and the last time I was on vacation here was when I got my Kong figure!!
