My Aunt had weird beliefs that things could be demonized. She threw away $ thousands of dollars of family heirloom jewelry for that very reason. She should of passed them to someone else in the family but I guess in her mind she didn't want pass ill will to them.

They do seem to like to dive off of shelves.

Some do turn into zombies...and there is no way to stop it. Not even Plasti-Dip.

Having just published a book on home hauntings and having listened to a *lot* of people's stories, I'd say maybe. Spirits often attache themselves to something they loved in life -- I have a whole chapter on a local bookstore that was haunted by a quiet, benign spirit who wasn't part of the building's history, but the store owner believed came with a collection of books they picked up in a huge estate sale.

Do people love their Megos? Especially if it was a childhood piece they kept their whole life? Yeah, based on some of the stories I've been told, I could see Megos being haunted.

Now, is this a random thought? Or is there a story I need to hear that sparked this question?

I am quite certain that after I am gone, my energy will surely be surrounding my RC Batman figure....in the best way ever. The new owner will undoubtedly report all good luck, positivity & peace will come with this toy. This figure has always anchored me with deep feelings of belonging, & being accepted/ acceptable at home with my parents and siblings. There has always been something magical about this figure for me.

I had a crazy lady at one of our yard sales say a Bionic woman figure we were selling was haunted...I raised the price from $15 to $20 due to it now being extra special and she bought it!

one morning i awoke to find a figure upside down in a clamshell on the wall but then realized i'd swapped his boots the day before and put it back on the wall in the dark.

An episode of My Haunted House had a Big Jim figure that was found under a house that was part of a ritual with animal bones.
Dolls were created to trap the souls of the dead we just decided to make them for kids. Vodoo dolls are definitly not for kids.
