Fond, fond memories of MS. I'll be 52 soon, so I was probably the target audience for them back in the day. I recall having a couple of them. Never knew about the book...Just purchased one and am stoked to dive into it!

Damn you guys! My new OCD is Monster Scenes! I have gotten the book, which I LOVE! I also have acquired 7 of the model kits, some Aurora, some Moebius.
Looking for Frankenstein and the Pendulum.....anyone?

Well, it doesn't look like there's any reasonably-priced Pendulum kits right now on the famous auction site that begins with "e". But,if you're persistent and keep looking for the next month or two, you should be able to score one in the $20 area.

If you like building the kits, as opposed to collecting the kits w/boxes, the "e" site has something that looks like a great deal: A resin-cast Frankenstein with alternate head, and sheet covered body, PLUS unboxed but packaged kits of Dr. Deadly and The Pain Parlor, all for less than $60, free shipping. If you search the "e" site for Monster Scenes The Operation, you'll find it. I'd go for it, but I'm a little short of table space for displays right now.

For the standard Moebius Frankenstein, you can get a bagged one (unique packaging) if you search Chiller Theatre Frankenstein.
