I have to applaud Ideal Toys for spinning the monster makeup kit concept to Superheroes and not just including Hulk and Spider-Man but the Thing as well as being smart enough to include She-Hulk and Spider-Woman on the box.

This kit must have been adopted by lots of face paint artists at amusement parks and zoos, because I see Spideys like this all the time!

Honest to goodness, if today's kids put this much effort into their costume at my doorstep, I'd give them the whole bowl of candy. Do kids even do makeup anymore?

^I see LOTS of Zombie make-up...but it's usually pretty generic and uninspired.

My own son went as a werewolf using makeup a few years back, so it's still done, on occasion.

^Well some of the local grade schools have a no mask rule, so I've seen some face paints.
