Imperial Toys Godzilla Merchandise Blitz Part 1

Imperial made the 1980s more fun by laying out some truly inspired Godzilla merchandise from the insane bubble blowing bong to the more logical PVC Godzilla.

I still have mine that I purchased 30 (sigh!) years back, it followed through every dorm room/crappy apartment and is still kicking!

at one point I had dozens of those PVC Godzillas. I used to find them everywhere, at thrift stores, garage sales, flea markets.

I'm pretty sure I had one of those Godzillas myself. Not sure exactly how I came to own it. Probably a random trip to Ben Franklin.

I remember having Godzilla and matching him up with Hong Kong Gorilla sort of like my own
version of King Kong vs Godzilla, ahh the memories.

How deflating would it be to see Godzilla trudge from the sea, stop on the beach to face the phalanx of tanks, missile launchers and planes tilt back his head about to let loose his iconic roar yet only releasing a stream of soapy bubbles. Aaawww.

I had the one in the last photo down but mine was like 12" high and like a foot and a half from head to tail.

Still remember getting it for a super marked down price at KB

Think I paid like 5 bucks at the time

Sold it on ebay a few years ago for 60
